What to expect
Every aspect of our devotion to God can rightly be referred to as service. Worship-service, however, follows a prescribed order of specific acts laid out in God’s word, enabling us to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24), and to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Him through Jesus Christ (1st Peter 2:5).
Given that, and consistent with the authority that is necessary in all that we do, you would observe us (1) partaking of the Lord’s Supper in memory of the price that was paid for our salvation: our Lord’s death on the cross (Matthew 26:26-29).
You would observe us (2) singing, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19).
You would observe us (3) praying to our heavenly Father through the name of our Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17; Ephesians 5:20).
You would observe (4) the word of God being taught (Acts 20:7).
You would also observe (5) the members giving of their means in order to support the work of the church (1st Corinthians 16:2). No funds will ever be asked of those visiting with us.
